Anne Hathaway paid homage to her 2006 comedy, “Devil Wears Prada,” at the 2024 SAG Awards by wearing a blue gown with a special meaning Saturday night.

The “Princess Diaries” star, 41, stunned on the carpet at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles in an off-the-shoulder Atelier Versace floor-length gown that featured a nod to the famous movie.

She paired her look with a pair of silver heels and a silver clutch. She also sparkled in a diamond necklace and earrings, both by Bulgari.

While speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, Hathaway confirmed that her look was made to honor the now-iconic style lecture delivered by Meryl Streep’s character (Miranda Priestly) in the film.

“This look was guided by a practical reality: I was literally stepping off a plane and onto the carpet, so I needed something visually impactful but friendly on the body,” she told the outlet.

“Also, given who I was presenting with, I asked for a very specific color.”

During the scene, Hathaway’s character, Andrea Sachs, chuckled when Priestly’s assistant said two similar colored belts were “so different.”

That’s when Priestly gave her an epic speech on the different hues of blue — including cerulean and turquoise.

She informed Sachs, who was wearing a blue sweater from a mall bargain rack, that “what you don’t know is that that sweater is not just blue, it’s not turquoise, it’s not lapis, it’s actually cerulean.”

During the awards show, which was live-streamed on Netflix, Hathaway took the stage with her “Devil Wears Prada” co-stars Streep and Emily Blunt to announce the nominees for Best Male Actor in a Comedy Series, which was awarded to “The Bear” star Jeremy Allen White.

What’s next for Hathaway, florals for spring?
