‘Baywatch’ alum Nicole Eggert, 52, shaves head amid battle with ‘very rare’ form of breast cancer

Nicole Eggert bravely shaved her head in the midst of her battle with a “very rare” form of breast cancer.

The “Baywatch” alum shared a video on Instagram Thursday showing herself shaving her pixie haircut while the Beastie Boys’ song “Fight for Your Right” played in the background. One of her daughters eventually walks into the frame to assist her mom in removing the last of her locks.

Eggert, 52, smiled after she finished the job in her living room.

“Maybe healing involves not so much changing ourselves but allowing ourselves to be who we are – Madeleine Eames,” she captioned the emotional footage.

Celebrities such as Alyssa Milano and Jennie Garth voiced their support in the comments section of Eggert’s post.

“Grace. You have the most grace,” Milano wrote. “It’s inspiring and I appreciate you.”

“Sending you a big hug,” Garth added.

The “Charles in Charge” actress announced in early January that she had been diagnosed with stage 2 cribriform carcinoma after believing she was going through menopause but experiencing “terrible pain” in her left breast.

“It really was throbbing and hurting,” she explained. “I immediately went to my general practitioner, and she told me I had to immediately go get it looked at.”

Eggert immediately feared succumbing to the disease because it would mean leaving her daughters, Dilyn, 26, and Keegan, 12, behind.

“[Dilyn’s] an adult, but I have a 12-year-old at home where I’m the only caregiver. I have no family. I have nothing,” she noted.

But weeks after sharing her diagnosis, Eggert revealed doctors found more cancer in her lymph nodes.

“The self-exams, I’m telling you, I kick myself [for not doing them frequently],” she told “Inside Edition.” “That’s the one thing I should have been doing.”

Eggert — whose mother battled colon cancer and father had skin cancer — also blamed the breast implants she got when she was 18 to look better on screen for “Baywatch.”

“If I didn’t have them and I had my smaller, natural breasts, I am sure I would have felt it much sooner,” she said.

One of Eggert’s pals launched a GoFundMe to help assist with the actress’ medical bills, and it has raised nearly $48,000. Kyle Richards, who “goes “way back” with Eggert, donated $1,000 to the fundraiser.
