While reflecting on the Super Bowl 2024, Blake Lively revealed that the Adidas x Balenciaga tracksuit she wore also functioned as footwear.
“Last week I left my kids for the first time ever and wore pants that were shoes,” the “Gossip Girl” alum, 36, captioned a carousel of Instagram photos from her Las Vegas trip.
In the post, Lively included several up-close looks at the fashion contraption, showing her heeled red booties morphing into the billowing pant leg.
The brand’s signature three stripes extended down the side of her pant leg and onto the shoe portion of the ensemble.
The actress also joked that she “took pictures upside down and had no clue” and “treated a friendship bracelet like a Flat Stanley” for her husband, Ryan Reynolds, who hilariously watched the game from home.

“I borrowed more jewelry than the skeleton in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. And I went clubbing,” she continued. “Now I know what my episode of the Twilight Zone would look like. 💥🙌😆”
While she gave fans a few different talking points, most of her followers couldn’t get past her innovative pant design.
“The pants were a shoe?!? You looked amazing the hair the outfit, we all wanted to look like you for the Super Bowl!” one person wrote.
“didn’t even notice the shants lol,” another surprised follower wrote, to which a third added, “THOSE PANTS WERE SHOE?!?! 🤯”
“Omg so if your feet start to hurt you have to take off your pants?!” a fourth jokingly asked.
“Pantsuits > Pantshoes,” someone else wrote.
Lively — who wore her hair in enormous, bouncy curls — paired the bright red tracksuit with a cropped tank top and nearly half a million dollars of jewelry.
The mother of four decked out her wrists with a whopping 14 different gold and silver bracelets — all from Tiffany & Co.
She also wore several chunky gold necklaces from the same famed jewelry store — including an $18,500 graduated link necklace, a $78,000 diamond pavé necklace and a $62,000 yellow gold graduated link necklace.
As for her earrings, Lively styled somewhat simple diamond earrings ($1,650) with gold Elsa Peretti snake earrings ($4,000).
The total for all the “borrowed” jewelry came out to $469,075.
