Cher, 77, straddles boyfriend Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards, 38, amid conservatorship battle with her son

Cher certainly believes in love.

The 77-year-old pop star took to X Saturday to share a steamy photo of herself straddling her much younger boyfriend, Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards, 38.

She appeared to be crying in the photo as she grasped her beau’s chin with one hand and wrapped her free arm around his upper back.

Meanwhile, he grinned at Cher as he held her around the waist.

Both dressed casually for the intimate snapshot, with the “Strong Enough” singer rocking a black shirt and printed black and white pants tucked into matching fur-lined boots.

Edwards, meanwhile, wore baggy jeans and a varsity-style jacket.

She and Edwards were first linked in November 2022 but were reported to have split last spring.

However, by the fall, they were fully back together.

Cher dropped the lovey-dovey photo one day after she was temporarily denied a conservatorship over her son, Elijah Blue Allman’s, estate.

She petitioned to gain control over her 47-year-old son’s finances on Dec. 27 over concerns that he could not “manage his own financial resources” because of his alleged struggles with drug abuse.

Specifically, she wrote in her filing that “any funds distributed to Elijah will immediately be spent on drugs, leaving Elijah with no assets to provide for himself, and putting Elijah’s life at risk.”

In a new filing from Thursday, Cher also claimed her son was missing.

However, Allman fought back against his mother’s wishes with his own court filing on Thursday.

“A conservatorship of the estate is not necessary at this time, no reason exists for the appointment of a conservator, the proposed conservator is not entitled to priority, and proposed conservator is unfit to serve,” his legal papers read.

Allman’s move came two days after he filed papers to dismiss his divorce from his estranged wife, Marieangela King.
