This was not god’s plan.
Drake has been criticized by fans for forgetting the lyrics to his songs during several of his It’s All a Blur Tour stops.
A day after the Canadian-born rapper, 36, performed for the second consecutive night at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, a Twitter user wrote, “Baby the ladies on tik tok [sic] saying drake couldn’t remember the words to half his songs in Atlanta.
“He tried to give them an encore and she said the crowd groaned 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.”
When another user asked for a concert attendee to confirm whether the rumors were true, one person replied, “He did I was there he said he’d brb and we all left 😭.”
Another person said they had a similar experience during Drake’s tour stop in Dallas.
And back in August, a TikTok user shared a video of the Grammy winner seemingly forgetting the lyrics to Ginuwine’s 1999 track “So Anxious,” which he sang over the beat of his hit “Legend.”
“just waiting for Drake to sing at least one of his songs how he actually recorded them so I can sing along,” she captioned the clip.

While some fans didn’t enjoy the show, others were lucky enough to walk away with pricey gifts.
Last month, Drake gifted a pink Hermès Birkin bag — which retails for $30,000 — to one lucky fan at his Los Angeles concert.
As he handed the expensive tote to a woman in the front row, he said, “Make sure she has security on the way out.”
Earlier this month, the “In My Feelings” rapper also gave $50,000 to a fan who claimed to have spent their furniture money on tickets to his show.
The fan caught the superstar’s attention when he held up a sign that read, “Drake I spent my furniture money on your two shows, OVO for life.”
“My man, your furniture money?” the hitmaker replied. “Imma give you 50 bands tonight ’cause I love you. Make sure he gets his money tonight.”
Drake’s It’s All a Blur Tour continues Thursday and Friday with shows in Miami.
