Gwyneth Paltrow brings back iconic pink Oscars gown, other past looks for new Goop ad

Talk about a festive flashback.

Gwyneth Paltrow treated fans to a clever holiday ad on the Goop Instagram account Tuesday, sharing a video that showed the actress recreating a number of her most famous looks throughout the years — including the pink dress she wore to accept her Oscar for “Shakespeare in Love.”

The Goop founder, 51, captioned the video, “You never know who might show up around your holiday table,” inviting fans to “Shop gifts for even the most distinct personalities.”

In the clip, Paltrow walks into a dinner party only to find multiple versions of herself seated at the table, including one dressed in the iconic pale pink Ralph Lauren gown she wore to the 1999 Academy Awards.

The full-skirted dress with spaghetti straps became an instantly iconic look for the star after she received her first (and only) Oscar while wearing it, and the lifestyle guru even wore her hair in the same slicked-back, side-parted style for her Goop commercial.

Paltrow accessorized with a similar diamond choker necklace and stud earrings as she sipped champagne at the holiday gathering alongside other Gwyneths — including one smoking a cigarette and wearing a brown fur coat to represent her character in “The Royal Tenenbaums.”

A 1990s version of Paltrow sported a black leather jacket and white T-shirt with red-tinted sunglasses, while a modern Gwyneth rocks athletic gear and opens a checkered pickleball paddle ($85) as a gift.

Of course, other Goop products, like a “Dirty Santa” candle ($70) are featured in the cheerful holiday season ad, although the brand’s wildest gifts, like a $15,000 24k gold vibrator, didn’t quite make the cut.

At the end of the commercial, the doorbell rings and Paltrow answers it to see herself dressed as her “Iron Man” character, Pepper Potts, who asks, “Room for one more?” while carrying a very futuristic-looking Dr. Dennis Gross LED face mask ($455) that would make Tony Stark proud.

Fans went crazy over the “hilarious” video, like one who wrote, “I don’t know which was my favorite.. the pink Oscars dress or Margot Tenenbaum. GENIUS!!! 👏👏👏.”

“THE GWYNETH PALTROW ERAS TOUR 😍” another Instagram follower commented, while a third added, “This is genius! My dream dinner party!”

“But where is Ski Trial Gwyneth?? ⛷️ ✨” another social media user quipped, referring to the quiet luxury looks she rocked in the courtroom during her successful March 2023 trial.

While the commercial shows many different versions of the “Sliding Doors” actress, don’t expect a gray-haired model of the star to show up in next year’s ad following her recent interview in People.

Paltrow shared that while “there’s something really amazing about letting nature take its course,” she wasn’t sure if she’d ever go totally silver, adding, “I don’t know if I’m totally brave enough to do that, but I’m very curious.”
