Harry Styles fans rejoice as singer grows hair out after buzzcut: ‘Hide the scissors’

Harry Styles’ hair has fans abuzz again.

The “Watermelon Sugar” singer is rocking a slightly longer style for 2024 in a new photo shared on Twitter Wednesday, and social media users went wild for his grown-out look after his shocking buzz cut divided fans last year.

The photo, which was originally shared by a private Instagram account and then re-posted by fan page HSD, showed Styles — who shaved his head in November 2023 — standing in a tropical locale as he looks at the camera in surprise.

The Grammy winner, 29, wears a white button-up shirt and a longer hairstyle than he did in late 2023, rocking a grown-out top with short sides.

Fans jumped in with plenty of all-caps responses on the photo, like one who tweeted, “HOW DOES IT GROW SO FAST.”

“the hair we are so back” one fan commented on the tweet, while another wrote, “SHUT UPPPP I CAN RUN MY HANDS THRU HIS HAIRRRRRR.”

“Hide the scissors” another fan quipped.

While the pop star has kept a low profile following his extensive “Love on Tour” show dates, he debuted his freshly shaved head while attending a November U2 concert with girlfriend Taylor Russell.

Styles then showed off his buzz cut in a photo posted on his beauty and apparel brand, Pleasing’s, Instagram account, subsequently sending shockwaves through his fan base.

The reaction even caused his mom, Anne Twist, to defend her superstar son, posting on Instagram that “When you consider that H has a legacy of kindness and inclusion” she found it ironic that he was getting so much “negativity” and nasty remarks “for having a haircut.”

With 2024 still young, who knows what hair-raising looks Styles has in store this year.
