Ever wonder what your favorite celebrities buy when they’re browsing their favorite boutique or shopping online late at night? Welcome to Six Picks, where we ask stars to spill their style and beauty must-haves — so you can shop like you’re famous, too.
As the daughter of actor Idris Elba and makeup artist Hanne “Kim” Norgaard, Isan Elba knows a thing or two about looking good in the limelight; she walked her first red carpet when she was just 7 years old, is a front-row fixture at fashion week and recently attended the SAG Awards on her famous father’s arm.
But while the 22-year-old model and influencer says she’s constantly sent products from various brands, only a select few make it into her regular rotation — and during We the Urban’s Finding Your Personal Power dinner last week, she was all too happy to tell Page Six Style about a few of her summer staples.
Shop Isan’s favorites below, from the $26 body oil she was tempted to gatekeep to the glow-giving SPF she slathers on every day.
“I was gonna gatekeep this, but for you, I’m not gonna do that. I love a perfume, but when I put this on, I get way more compliments. I have absolutely no clue if it actually firms anything, but you have to smell it — it’s so good.”
“It’s lightweight, perfect coverage. I don’t like my makeup to look too caked-on, and this genuinely looks like skin.”
“It’s part of my daily routine. I’ve really been obsessed with it, because if I want to have a day where I’m not wearing makeup, I put it on and it’s so glowy.”
“I saw this on TikTok originally — where I see everything — and had to have it. I was feeling good and I wanted to spend some money on myself. I think it’s an investment piece because you can wear it anywhere, and it’s big enough to hold everything I ever need.”
“Level up your game! My favorite compliment is, ‘You smell good,’ so I make sure I do at all times.”
“My friend Amaan Duffer runs this brand out of London, and he has beautiful jewelry. I love bows — I’m very girly — and then they became a huge trend, which kind of sucks. Because I’ve always loved things with bows on them — always!”
