Jamie Spears seen in a wheelchair in first sighting since leg amputation

Jamie Spears was seen for the first time since getting his leg amputated.

The embattled father and former conservator of Britney Spears was photographed at a warehouse in Kentwood, La., on Tuesday, receiving help moving from the passenger’s seat of a car into a wheelchair.

The 71-year-old’s right leg was partially amputated in November, four inches above his knee.

For the outing, Jamie wore an olive green sweatshirt beneath a black puffer jacket, which he paired with black pants — the right leg of which was cinched off and tied up below the knee.

He also sported a baseball cap, reading glasses and a black slide with a gray sock on his left foot.

“He’s still living in an RV next to Britney’s storage warehouse with all her stuff in it,” an insider told Page Six earlier this month, adding that “he had a knee replacement and got a terrible infection from it.”

Our source said Jamie underwent multiple unsuccessful surgeries prior to the amputation, which was “a last resort.”

We exclusively reported in early October that he was “seriously ill” and had been in and out of hospitals, including a facility for infectious disease patients.

Insiders said at the time that he had “lost more than 25 pounds” while dealing with his ailments, which stemmed from a knee replacement in the mid-2000s.

Britney has not yet spoken publicly about her dad’s health woes, but she did upload a since-deleted throwback photo of the pair to her Instagram shortly after his amputation made headlines. The post was not captioned.

Sources have told Page Six that the pop star, 42, has no interest in reconciling with Jamie.

Britney became estranged from the Spears family patriarch while fighting to end the conservatorship under which he had her placed in 2008.

After she described Jamie as “abusive” in open court in June 2021, a Los Angeles judge suspended him as conservator before terminating the guardianship altogether that November.

Britney detailed his 13-year control over her personal and financial decisions in her memoir, “The Woman in Me,” which she released in October.

The Grammy winner likened her father to a “cult leader” and claimed he was an alcoholic who not only forced her to go to rehab multiple times but also used her success to help his “cash flow.”

Jamie, who has previously denied any wrongdoing, has not publicly addressed the bestselling book.
