Kim Kardashian rocks a blond bob and goes corset-free after Met Gala

These days, it’s pretty hard to keep up with Kim Kardashian’s hair changes.

Though the Skims founder showed up to Monday’s Met Gala with long blond hair and darker roots, she was spotted leaving a photo shoot on Thursday rocking a significantly shorter ‘do.

As she exited a car, Kardashian, 43, showed off a chin-length blond bob, although she kept the full reveal under wraps, covering her head with a black Balenciaga baseball cap ($495).

The lighter hair popped against the reality star’s all-black outfit, which included an oversized duster coat, leather pants, and heeled moto-style Balenciaga boots ($8,700).

She also carried an extremely large, structured black Hermés Birkin bag that featured three pockets in the front that can retail for up to $80,000.

Noticeably absent from the mom of four’s look was the controversial Maison Margiela corset she wore on the Met steps, which whittled her waist to the extreme and made it difficult for her to breathe.

The piece received plenty of backlash on social media, with people claiming Kardashian and her family push “unachievable beauty standards.”

“I’m not saying the media is to blame for young women’s eating disorders but Kim Kardashian crushing her organs to be thin on a red carpet sure doesn’t f–king help,” someone wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Prior to the fashion event, Kardashian also teased a handful of hairstyles, at one point posting a series of photos of herself sporting a light pink pixie cut. The pictures prompted many to claim she was copying Bianca Censori, who is married to Kardashian’s ex, Kanye West.

The “Kardashians” star also went icy blonde while attending Homeboy Industries’ 2024 Lo Maximo Awards and Fundraising Gala, and still had her signature brown locks at the end of April while appearing on an episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Will the blonde bob be sticking around for a while? Only time will tell!
