Lady Gaga is causing folie in Italy.
The actress has made quite a splash at the 2024 Venice Film Festival on Thursday, arriving at the premiere of her forthcoming movie “Joker: Folie à Deux” in dramatic fashion wearing a black ballgown with an enormous headpiece.
Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germonatta, wowed in a Christian Dior Haute Couture gown with a plunging neckline and large skirt with pick-ups.
She topped the look off with Giuseppe Zanotti booties and a gothic Philip Treacy headpiece that was reminiscent of horned peaks and included a lace brim that dipped dramatically in front of her eyes.
Fans were obsessed with the look, with one commenting on Check the Tag’s Instagram page, “of course— sheer magnificence and just the right amount of elegant theatricality. utter perfection. 🖤🖤🖤”
“Trust her to bring the DRAMA 🖤,” said another while a third wrote, “Yup this is a slay. Very few can pull this off without it looking clownish or gimmicky or desperate. But Lady G makes this look like art.”
The “A Star is Born” actress, 38, kept the sultry vibes going with a deep red lipstick and smokey eyeshadow, which stood in contrast to her newly platinum blond hair, adding bling with Tiffany & Co. jewels.
She sported an enormous diamond Tiffany High Jewelry necklace featuring an 8-carat marquise diamond and 896 round brilliant diamonds of over 22 total carats, per the brand — which was previously worn by Dua Lipa at the 2024 Met Gala.
Gaga also added spiked diamond earrings and a cluster diamond bracelet, both also from Tiffany & Co.
Plus, the triple threat’s massive engagement ring from fiancé Michael Polansky was, of course, put on full display on the red carpet after the “Born This Way” singer flaunted it earlier this week when she arrived at the Italian film festival with Polansky in tow.
The happy couple cuddled up to each other and showed some PDA on the boat ride to the premiere, before the superstar added her head topper.
According to reports, Polansky, 46, popped the question some time before Gaga’s March birthday, but the couple kept it under wraps for weeks before she was spotted with the enormous sparkler in April. She continued not to wear the colossal diamond until the 2024 Paris Olympics last month, where she spilled the beans, calling Polansky her fiancé.
Experts tell Page Six Style that the oval-cut solitaire stone — which weighs in at at least 10 carats — could be worth an estimated $1 million.
