Lisa Rinna admits facial fillers were ‘not good for me’ after critics slammed her look

Lisa Rinna knows she may have overdone it with cosmetic fillers.

The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 60, was criticized for her “overfilled look” earlier this week after a video breaking down her appearance went viral.

The TikTok video shared by Nicole Smith, an aesthetic physician assistant, explained Rinna’s cosmetic procedures, including her recent use of Skinvive injectables.

One fan wrote, “I can’t believe that’s Lisa Rinna!!!” while another added, “I didn’t even recognize her.”

The comments prompted the reality star to speak out, admitting that the fillers did not complement her appearance as much as she had hoped.

“Skinvive is not for everyone, and it was not good for me,” Rinna wrote in the comments section. “Luckily we could dissolve it today. Whew.”

In the viral video, Smith dissected Rinna’s fillers by explaining exactly what she had done to keep her youthful glow.

“The key with doing dermal fillers or Botox is to maintain your youthful look. Not to alter and change your appearance,” Smith said in the clip, which was also shared via Instagram.

“They placed too much filler in the cheeks and midface. It completely throws off the full facial balance. With good injection techniques, your results should be undetectable.”

Rinna has been open and honest about her cosmetic procedures over the years.

In January, the mom of two opened up about her current lifestyle, saying that she maintains her health by enjoying everything in moderation.

“I’ve been really fortunate to get to 60 and be healthy, knock on wood,” she told Cosmopolitan’s “Sex After 60” digital issue.

“I keep a very moderate lifestyle. I’ve worked out since I was 16 years old. I live in moderation, even though it seems like I live very loudly and largely. I get my rest. I eat mostly healthy. I’m moderate.”

“I don’t go crazy with anything. So there’s no silver bullet. There’s nothing that I’m super challenged with,” she added.

It comes as Rinna recently revealed that she will not return to the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

Rinna announced her shock exit in January 2023, saying that filming Season 12 was especially difficult for her due to her mother Lois’ death.

After appearing as a guest in Season 4, Rinna joined the series during Season 5 in 2014. She remained on the show through Season 12, which aired in 2022.
