Liz Taylor has a new fashion line

It’s Elizabeth tailor! Elizabeth Taylor’s estate is launching a fashion line in the late actress’ name, Page Six has learned.

The House of Taylor collection features sweaters, hoodies and T-shirts with text and images inspired by the icon.

The range runs from $35 to $65 and some of the profit goes to the late star’s AIDS foundation.

Tim Mendelson, co-trustee of Taylor’s estate and her executive assistant for more than 20 years, told us, “While Elizabeth Taylor is probably best known for her glamorous red carpet style, we wanted to capture her more casual and playful side with [items] to be worn every day. As one of the world’s most famous women in history, her name and likeness is globally recognized. In some cases, we use only her name and in others it’s paired with her image and some of her more playful and meaningful quotes.”

One design features the line “Big girls need big diamonds,” another has the “Cleopatra” star’s name spelled out in classic collegiate lettering and a third has a disco-esque picture of her face.

The line — produced by Dark Horse Records, the label founded by George Harrison — runs from $35 to $65 and, according to the website, some of the money goes to her AIDS foundation.

The line was launched to coincide with what would have been the “Cleopatra” star’s 92nd birthday.

They go on sale on ElizabethTaylor.com today, which would have been Taylor’s 92nd birthday.
