Mariah Carey performs surprise concert at Carbone’s Qatar Grand Prix dinner party

Mariah Carey surprised an ultra-ritzy crowd at Carbone’s pop-up dinner party in Qatar with a 45-minute private concert, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

The “Obsessed” singer stopped by Major Food Group’s Carbone Beach to kick off Formula 1’s Qatar Grand Prix Friday night.

Carey, 54, belted out some of her biggest hits including “We Belong Together,” “Hero” and “Fantasy.”

“The crowd cheered so loud when she walked off that she got back on stage and dazzled them with a special encore of ‘Hero,’” an insider said.

We’re told Carey had her hair and makeup team come up on stage to give her some touch-ups mid-performance.

Prior to Carey’s previously unannounced show, partygoers kicked off the evening by indulging in cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and an opulent caviar bar before making their way over to their tables.

Once seated, guests enjoyed an extravagant four-course Italian meal and took in live performances by London’s cast of “Jersey Boys,” which we’re told “brought the essence of Carbone to life.”

This is the first year Carbone Beach has popped up in the Middle East, though the exclusive soirée took Floridians by storm during the Miami Grand Prix in May 2022 and 2023.

Page Six exclusively reported last year that the lavish dinner party in the sand charged $3,000 per person, and the same steep price was applied this year, too.

We hear Carbone Beach Qatar will proceed with two more nights filled with surprises and starry crowds this weekend.

Several notable people were in attendance, including Jamie Reuben, Dan Ioeb and Todd Boehly.

Carey’s performance comes just days after the Queen of Christmas announced her 13-city Merry Christmas One And All Tour, which will begin in November and continue through mid-December.

The Grammy-winning artist famously flaunts her impressive vocals around the holidays each year, though not always without showing some diva behavior.

Page Six reported in January 2019 that Carey had her glam team come onstage to give her hair and makeup touch-ups during a St. Barts performance celebrating the new year.
