Naomi Campbell brings back 1996 Chanel gown she debuted on the runway at Cannes Film Festival 2024

Talk about ageless.

Naomi Campbell proved that not only does good fashion never go out of style — a good model never does either.

The supermodel, 53, stepped out at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival premiere of “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” in France on Wednesday in a stunning gown that would make devoted fashion fans’ mouths drop.

Campbell chose a vintage Chanel couture black gown featuring pearl shoulder details and sheer panels that showed off her legs and black underwear — but it wasn’t just the strategically placed cutouts that turned the look into a wow moment.

The design is from Karl Lagerfeld’s 1996 collection — and Campbell was the model who originally walked the look down the runway 28 years ago.

For the original runway look, the then-25-year-old star styled her hair in a sleek bun with a black headband and wore a black slip underneath the see-through bottoms. In 2024, she let her long hair hang down in a curled style.

It’s perhaps unsurprising that Campbell was styled by Law Roach, who has recently pulled from near-impossible vintage designer archives for his star client Zendaya during her “Dune: Part Two” and “Challengers” press tours, in addition to her 2024 Met Gala archival Givenchy gowns earlier this month.

Fans were loving the look, of course, with one tweeting, “Naomi is forever HER 😍😍😍” and another saying, “Ate down bad, I love a self reference.”

One commented on her more revealing look, saying, “Mama said no black slip I’m grown now lol.”

Another said that the mom of two would have been perfectly on theme for the Met Gala, which celebrated archival “Sleeping Beauties” gowns.
