Nick Carter has broken his social media silence following the shocking death of his younger sister, Bobbie Jean.
The Backstreet Boys singer took to Instagram Saturday to share a video of his 7-year-old son, Odin, playing golf in sweats and a gray zip-up.
“Great shot!” the proud father, 43, exclaimed after his son hit the ball.
“Cherishing these moments,” he captioned the video.
In addition to Odin, Carter shares daughters Saoirse, 4, and Pearl, 2, with his wife, Lauren Kitt.
Fans were quick to send him and his adorable son messages of praise via his comment section. However, many noticed that he has not yet spoken publicly on the death of Bobbie Jean, who died on Dec. 23 at the age of 41.
A cause of death has not yet been revealed. Page Six previously reported that Bobbie Jean’s unresponsive body was found in the bathroom of her Tampa residence.

Her death came six months after she was arrested for retail theft and drug possession.
She had been found with fentanyl on her, but her roommates told authorities after her passing that she had not touched drugs following her run-in with the law.
While the “Everybody” singer has yet to publicly address his sister’s death, their sibling Angel Carter paid tribute to her on Instagram last Sunday.
“You had a great sense of humor, and a lively spirit. Growing up, I was your baby, and you were my best friend,” she began her lengthy statement, which accompanied several throwback photos of her older sister.
“Life wasn’t fair to you, that I know. Sometimes, it feels like you didn’t have a shot, no matter what.”
She went on to describe her sister’s childhood as “being burdened by trauma, pain, and suffering.”
“I know why Leslie, Aaron, and now you ended up in the circumstances that you did,” she continued.
“I share that pain we experienced during our childhood and I’m sorry you didn’t have an opportunity for a better life.”
As Angel mentioned, Bobbie Jean wasn’t the first Carter sibling to pass at an early age.
Former teen heartthrob Aaron Carter lost his life in November 2022 after he inhaled compressed gas and took alprazolam, the generic form of Xanax.
Their sister, Leslie Carter, died in 2012 due to a drug overdose.
Nick spoke about Aaron around the first anniversary of his sudden death during an interview with E! News and said he’s still trying to “make sense of it all.”
He also said he regrets not being able to fully reconcile with his brother after having such a publicly tumultuous relationship with him.
“No matter what he and I have gone through in our own lives we were always able to make amends, always were able to get back to that place and now I can’t anymore,” he said.
“No matter what, he’s my brother and I miss him and I love him.”
