Prince William seen leaving hospital where Kate Middleton is recovering from abdominal surgery

Prince William was spotted leaving the hospital where Kate Middleton is recovering from abdominal surgery.

Photographers captured the Prince of Wales driving away from the London Clinic in a black BMW Thursday morning with a stern look on his face.

William, 41, had a male passenger in the car as they left the private hospital in Central London’s famous medical district.

The sighting comes one day after Kensington Palace announced Middleton, 42, had undergone a “planned” operation Tuesday.

“The surgery was successful and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery,” read a statement posted to the couple’s Instagram Wednesday.

The palace revealed the Princess of Wales was “unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.”

The statement said only “significant” updates on Middleton’s condition would be shared with the public, as she hopes to “maintain as much normality for her children as possible.”

“The Princess of Wales wishes to apologise to all those concerned for the fact that she has to postpone her upcoming engagements,” the statement concluded.

“She looks forward to reinstating as many as possible, as soon as possible.”

Though the details of Middleton’s surgery remain a mystery, Page Six reported it was not related to cancer.
