This on-stage look is definitely Kenough.
Ryan Gosling went back to his pink roots, wearing a crystal-covered hot pink Gucci suit as he performed “I’m Just Ken” from the “Barbie” soundtrack at the 2024 Oscars on Sunday.
The “Barbie” star, 43 — who plays Ken in the hit Greta Gerwig movie — made the Dolby Theater his Mojo Dojo Casa House as he wore the suit with a custom black Stetson hat, hot pink gloves and dark Dita sunglasses to sing the Oscar-nominated song.

More than 75 cowboy-hat-clad Kens — including Simu Liu — joined him on stage, with the group bringing the house down in what songwriter Mark Ronson told E! was an “absolutely bananas spectacle.”
Gosling started out the song in the audience as he sat behind his giggling co-star Margot Robbie and was later joined on stage by Guns ‘N Roses guitarist Slash.
He even held the mic up to members of the audience, including Greta Gerwig, Robbie and America Ferrera, with the Kens singing on pink stairs that paid homage to an all-male version of “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend.”
As for his red carpet look, Gosling wore a custom black Gucci suit trimmed with silver sequins and a TAG Heuer watch as he walked the red carpet ahead of the awards show — though he did preview what was to come with pink socks, which he later sported on stage.
More award-worthy Oscars coverage:
While his co-star Margot Robbie, who plays Barbie, has sported one doll-like look after the next this awards season, Gosling has played it on the safer side, wearing monochromatic suits in an array of colors.
He rocked a pale lavender jacket and trousers with a matching dress shirt to the 2024 Oscars luncheon last month and the same look, but in scarlet red, to the Director’s Guild Awards.
The “Notebook” actor traded bright colors for black and white versions of the outfit for the Santa Barbara Film Festival and Critics’ Choice Awards, respectively, wearing a black suit with white piping and a coordinating shirt to the 2024 Golden Globes.

While Robbie was snubbed for a best actress Oscar — to the chagrin of many fans —Gosling received a best supporting actor nod for his role as Ken, though he lost out the award to Robert Downey Jr.
And though the former Mouseketeers was nominated for “I’m Just Ken” in the best original song category, Billie Eilish took it home for her own Barbie song, “What Was I Made For.”
“Barbie” also received nods for best picture, best adapted screenplay, best costume design and best production design, and America Ferrera received a best supporting actress nomination for her role as Gloria in the movie.
