Brock Davies recently got emotional about the consequences of his own actions.
The former rugby player opened up about his fractured relationship with his two children from his first marriage and being unable to see them during his recent trip to Austalia — which is where they live — on his wife Scheana Shay’s “Scheananigans” podcast Friday.
“There is a side of me that just wants to fight hard [to see them]. But then there is another side that reminds me this is a tough balancing act,” he explained as tears rolled down his cheeks.
“Actions have consequences,” he continued before addressing the “Vanderump Rules” star directly.
“Just hearing you talk about it [reminds me] I have to keep doing what I am doing. I am happy with the changes I made in my life and I am really happy with that.”
Before Davies broke down in tears, Shay, 38, had reminded him that his relationship with his ex and their children, Winter and Eli, has gotten better because they now receive photos of them “regularly.”

Davies, 32, admitted in Season 9 of “Vanderpump Rules” that he hadn’t seen his children in years because he had stopped paying his ex child support. And before that, she barred him from seeing them after he got physical with her.
“The situation between me and my ex was toxic,” he told Lisa Vanderpump during a November 2021 episode of the hit Bravo series. “And I did slap my partner. I did. I’m not proud of that.”
“We had an argument and I slapped her,” he further recalled. “Following that, we moved to France. My little boy was born, we separated.”
“And then we found out we were pregnant with my little girl,” he continued, “that led to an argument with me and her dad, and they pressed the domestic violence order on me.”
Davies revealed on Friday’s “Scheananigans” episode that all his child support is now current and that he and Shay “are working on a healthy or better relationship with the kids’ mom and their stepdad.”
“The goal is to be on time with my child support every month …. and communicate with them,” he added.
He also gave insight into why he did not see them during his and Shay’s recent trip to Australia.
“It is a very difficult situation. Based on my actions and my past and what my actions have caused for these kids — especially when they were younger — there was obviously trauma there that needed to be mended,” he noted.
“I need to keep turning up and show them that I am the dad that I want to be and that they want to be around.”
He added that every time he goes back to Australia, the “goal is to be able to have that door [open]” so his kids can eventually build a relationship with him.
“It’s tough,” he continued. “My actions put me here and so now I just got to keep being aware that I got to take my time with this, and do the right thing and keep turning up.”
Davies has been married to Shay since 2021.
They welcomed their daughter, Summer, in April 2021.
