Karma is the cat purring in Mariska Hargitay’s lap.
Taylor Swift finally reacted to the “full circle” news that the actress named her new kitten Karma, in reference to the Grammy winner’s hit 2022 song.
“Karma is a Cat,” Hargitay, 59, captioned an Instagram post last week. “@taylorswift Meet Karma. My Cat.🐱 #MeAndKarmaVibeLikeThat #AndIKeepMySideOfMyPawClean.”
On Saturday, Swift, 33, commented, “Are you serious?!!!! Nothing has ever come more full circle ⭕️ LOVE THIS SO MUCH!! 😻.”
The “Cruel Summer” songstress is a long-time fan of the actress and even named her own cat Olivia Benson after Hargitay’s character in “Law & Order: SVU.”
Swift is also a proud cat mom to Meredith Grey and Benjamin Button.
She and Hargitay developed an unlikely friendship after meeting at the Met Gala in the mid-2010s.
“I was so uncool,” Hargitay recalled on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” in 2015. “She [was] like, ‘Hi, I like your show!’ And I [was] like, ‘Oh thanks!’
“And I didn’t know that she was, like, the second coming.”
The TV icon noted that Swift was “so sweet” the next time they ran into each other at a New York City concert.
“We were somewhere so far out in Queens,” the NBC star explained. “She was like a little angel and goes, ‘Do you guys need a ride?’”
True to her word, Swift drove Hargitay home.
A few months later, Hargitay made a now-iconic cameo in the songwriter’s “Bad Blood” music video, alongside Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss and more of the pop star’s pals.

“It’s just so awesome, and it makes me feel super badass,” Hargitay gushed.
Most recently, Hargitay jetted down to Nashville to attend one of Swift’s Eras Tour stops over the summer.
During the concert, she posted a clip of herself singing along to “The Man” and “Shake It Off.”
“Thank you magnificent and miraculous @taylorswift for your magic,” Hargitay wrote via Instagram after the May show. “It’s such a gift to be in your stunning, sparkly, powerful and delicate wonderland.
“How do you make a stadium filled with with 70,000 people feel like your cozy living room?” she asked. “You are pure magic! Thank you for exquisite talent, your courage and all your wisdom.”
